Emily is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student who is completing her clinical training with Wanderlust Therapy. As part of her internship experience, Emily will be shadowing, learning alongside Jennifer, and beginning to work directly with clients under supervision. She will also be offering **reduced-rate counseling sessions**, creating an additional option for individuals and families seeking supportive and affordable mental health care. Emily is passionate about working with **women, children, and adolescents** as they navigate concerns related to relationships, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and life’s challenges. Her approach is grounded in empathy, encouragement, and creating a judgment-free environment where clients feel heard, supported, and valued. She is especially drawn to **person-centered counseling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)** and is pursuing a specialization in **play therapy** as she continues developing her clinical skills. Emily’s interest in becoming a counselor began at a young age after a close friend trusted her with their mental health struggles. That experience helped shape her desire to enter the helping profession and provide others with the compassion and support they deserve. Emily believes growth deserves to be celebrated in all its forms—whether it feels like a huge breakthrough or one small step forward. Outside of counseling, Emily enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time at the beach, and rewatching some of her favorites, including *Harry Potter*, *The Office*, and *Bob’s Burgers*. We are so happy to have Emily joining Wanderlust Therapy and look forward to watching her grow as a counselor while expanding the ways we can support our community. **Interested in working with Emily?** Emily will have a limited number of reduced-rate counseling appointments available.
